The construction hoist is one of the essential mechanical devices in the construction. With the flourish development of construction industry in our country, higher demands are also asked for the performance and reliability of the construction hoist. Research and development of new type construction hoist has become a hot topic in construction machinery industry. The safety anti-falling device is the security equipment of the construction hoist, which can avoid the falling of the cage to assure the people and goods safety as soon as the construction hoist meets accident. In the modern construction, the safety anti-falling device plays an important role, which has got widely attention by the professional. Therefore, it is very necessary to improve it for fitting the trade needs constantly. This paper aims at these problems, ameliorated the existing construction hoist and the safety anti-falling device, and designed a new type construction hoist, and then, designed and produced a safety anti-falling device with high sensitivity, good reliability for it, and analyzes its static and dynamic performance.The new type construction hoist which is designed in this subject. Through improving and optimization the existing type, design a construction hoist that have big lift capacity, high lift height and good comprehensive operational perform, which type use the steel wire. Its rate lift capacity is 4 tons, lift height is 100 meters. It is say about the overall performance, the applied prospect of this construction hoists would be well.Against with the tower body which is main structure of construction hoist'is made of many bar, adopting the finite element analysis software SAP84 to analyze the distortion and force condition of the tower body when the construction hoists works. In SAP84, established the model for the tower body of the construction hoists, through simulating the different work conditions to load and calculate, obtain the distortion and force condition of the tower body.Design an instantaneous safety anti-falling device Associate with the construction hoist, which make use of wedge block for brake.
