The Construction hoist is one of the essential mechanical devices in the construction. With flourish development of construction industry in our country, higher demands are also asked for the performance and reliability of the construction hoist. Research and development of new type construction hoist has become a hot topic in construction machinery industry.This topic to the construction elevator overall plan, the structure, the drive, the safety device has separately conducted the design research. After the synthesis has compared several kind of constructions elevators overall plan, uses the steel wire to hoist the type, its structure simple, the stress is clear about, the users also familiar. The security guards against falling, the overload protective device, highly the spacing installment takes the construction elevator the safekeeping of security installment which can avoid the falling of the cage to assure the people and goods safety as soon as the construction hoist meets accident. In the modern construction, the safety anti-falling device plays an important role, which has got widely attention by the professional. Therefore, it is very necessary to improve it for fitting the trade needs constantly. This paper aims at these problems, ameliorated the existing construction hoist and the safety anti-falling device, and designed a new type construction hoist, and then, designed and produced a safety anti-falling device with high sensitivity, good reliability for it, and analyzes its static and dynamic performance.The construction hoist which is designed in this subject. Through improving and optimization the existing type, design a construction hoist that have big lift capacity, high lift height and good comprehensive operational perform, which type use the steel wire. Its rate lift capacity is 4 tons, lift height is 100 meters.The security guards which make use of wedge block for brake. This safety anti-falling device have high sensitivity, good reliability, simple configuration and easy to test, which can availably avoid the falling accident of the cage.finally, use software which named Automatic Dynamics Analysis of Mechanical System to analyze the dynamic performance of the safety anti-falling device. Adopting the 3D design software Pro/Engineer to establish the simplified models of the virtual prototype system at first, and admit it to the ADAMS to exert constrains and loads to carry on dynamics simulation. At last, the performance of the safe anti-falling device was evaluated that made use of the simulation results.
