Wind energy assessment is one of the necessary conditions to develop a large-scale wind farm. Anemometer tower and wind resource acquisition system are main method to obtain the distribution of wind energy in local site. A wind farm acquirement system based on U disk is presented in this paper, which can be used in formidable natural conditions. The date acquisition system is comprised of the master and slaver micro controller units. The master MCU is designed to acquire the wind speed and wind direction data. With the USB Host-Slave controller SL811HS, the salver system is the function of the data storage for the flash disk, which has the characteristic of high-speed and low-cost mass storage.Based on the introduction of the architecture and the features of USB, including the protocol related, this thesis presents a embedded system which has the function of the data storage for the USB flash disk with the embedded USB host/slave controller SL811HS. This thesis gave the hardware realizing in embedded system and realized the software how to identify the USB flash disk and how to write data to the flash disk according to several protocols. These protocols include FAT File System Specification, Mass Storage Class protocol, USB Specification Rev1.1.After accomplishing the module of data storage for the USB flash disk, this thesis presented a wind farm data acquirement system. We adopted the P89LPC935 as the master slaver micro controller of this system. P89LPC935 is a single-chip microcontroller which is compatible with MCS-51 products entirely, designed for applications demanding high-integration, low cost solutions over a wide range of performance requirements. This wind farm data acquirement system can acquire the data of wind speed, wind direction and the temperature data in a long time (about one year). The system can also realize the function of data which acquired in the wind farm storage for the USB flash disk.Finally, we realized the work of devices selection, circuit design, hardware testing, software design, software testing, system testing.
