With the rapid development of society economy, the energy dependence isstrengthening gradually. Underground resources are scarce, which means the problemof new energy development and effective use of energy source needs to be resolved assoon as possible. Among a number of new energy, wind energy has attracted muchattention, cause it has many advantages such as non-pollution, big reserves andconvenient to use. However, wind Energy has very strong randomness, so wind farmmeteorological data measurement and wind farm monitor system have already becomethe important factor of developing wind power industry. Under this background, thispaper studied the problems of researching about ultrasonic anemometer based on Zigbeeand wind power monitoring technology based on the wind speed prediction.Basing on the introduction of composition and key technology of wind farmsupervisory control and data acquisition system. First, the principles of several windfarm supervisory control and data acquisition systems are compared, as a result, anetwork model of supervisory control and data acquisition system, which is fit for thisthesis, is showed. Secondly, this paper introduce a solution of supervisory control anddata acquisition system based on Zigbee, a new network wind farm wind measuringdevice is designed, which uses C8051F120single chip as kernel. And this low powerdata acquisition device can realizes high accuracy measurement of wind speed and winddirection. And then, this paper design a wind farm monitoring system based on Zigbee,which focus on the model based on Markov theory for predicting wind speed in windpower system. Monitoring system can realize data reading from data acquisition deviceand node control by Zigbee network,with the prediction of these data, the monitoringsystem can provide essential reference value for the operation of wind generator. Finally,the ultrasonic measuring device and monitoring system based on Zigbee is verifiedthrough experimental verification. The results shows the ultrasonic measuring deviceand monitoring system based on Zigbee can effective realize high accuracy wind speedand direction data collection, quick in the data transmitting. Monitoring system has thefunction of direct and a highly communication between people and computer, Comparing with other models, this model’s precision is better.The ultrasonic measuring device and monitoring system based on Zigbee caneffective realize high accuracy wind speed and wind direction data collection, Zigbeenetwork can reconstruct when the wind farm layouts changes.The given design andrealization of this paper, especially the study of wireless remote monitor and controlbased on Zigbee provides an advanced solution for the Wind power prediction and safeoperation of wind farm.
