Remote monitoring and fault diagnosis provides a convenient way for the remotization, netization, mult-agent cooperative diagnosis, and diagnosis resources sharing for high output turbo-generator units. Besides, it is acclaimed the features of Java language, including object-orientation, distribution-style, trans-platform, multithread, stability, safety, high performance, etc; and, more importantly, the accessibility of superior support of network development.The paper introduced the principle and realization means of fault diagnosis module and dynamic balance calculation module, which utilizes Java technology. Then the two employed modules were proved.Firstly, the paper analyzed the significance and the status quo of the development of remote vibration monitoring and diagnosis. Then, the paper gave detailed illustration about a variety of common diagnosis methods that include fuzzy diagnosis, clustering fuzzy synthetic relation and knowledge-based diagnosis method etc; summed up the causes and influences of the unbalancing; and introduced field high-speed dynamic balancing method and the implementation steps.Secondly, the paper generally introduced the system's overall structure, software framework and mode, as well as the characteristics of Java language which is applied in network development, and, additionally, small applicative program Applet which is applied in customer-side.Thirdly, the paper principally introduced the functions of fault diagnosis and dynamic balance calculating modules of the system software, how to use it as well as the realization of Java program etc. Meanwhile, the accuracy of the two modules were proven by the simulation calculation outcome.The paper ends up with the conclusions and outlook, in which the major tasks of the paper, the defects of remote diagnosis, as well as futural development orientation was presented.
