Research On Excavator Remote Control And Fault Diagnosis System Based On GPRS And C/S+B/S

This article mainly demonstrates the development of Excavator Remote Control System (ERCS), and makes a pilot study of applying Data Mining to the fault diagnosis of excavator's hydraulic system. Totally, the following items are mainly introduced.(1) Make a close study of the remote data transmission technology, and choose GPRS system as the carrier of the remote data transmission to reduce the cost and time dalay, and enhance the stability of data transmission. Make a close study of how to establish a GPRS data transmission network, and choose a better way to build up a network through Internet to reduce the cost. Made a close study of the IP protocol used in the data transmission in GPRS net, and choose TCP protocol to enhance the stability of data transmission, and made a study of development of the TCP protocol.(2) Made a study of structure of the C/S and B/S and combine the advantage of two structures, adopt the structure of the C/S+B/S, which break the limitation of the installation of client software, and user can control the excavator by visiting the Web-site. Make a close study of data communication between C/S software and B/S software, choose UPD protocol and introduce an instance.(3) Make a try of applying Rough Set and Neural Net to the fault diagnosis of excavator's hydraulic system. Combined with the attribute reduce of the Rough Set, enhance the operational efficiency of Neural Net, and an instance in Java language is introduced.(4) Combined with Embedded System, Website, Data-base, GSM, GPRS, Digital Map, Excavator Remote Control System is developed. ERCS's functions include remote conreol, data collect, data save, data query, digital map, fault diagnosis of excavator's hydraulic system and so on.
