Based on practical project, the research of how to develop and implement automotive final drive on-line automated test system is put forward in this dissertation, primary exploration on related fault diagnosis technology and technique are carried out as well.Chapter One firstly describes the research background and the origin of the project. The grand significance of the research and the author's major contribution is further stated, then the development status of contemporary automobile test technique of home and abroad is introduced together with the development direction of domestic automobile overall performance test. It also includes the set of parameters and standards of automobile test. Finally the main content of research and the fabric of dissertation are presented.Chapter Two mainly discussed some kinds of useful fault diagnosis signal analysis methods and their application in automobile testing, including correlative function analysis method, frequency domain analysis method, wavelet analysis method, pattern classification analysis method, intelligent diagnosis analysis method.Chapter Three focuses on the introduction and research of basic principle of automotive final drive test. After a brief overview of the structures and compositions of the driving axle, the final drive and the differential, from the perspective of noise and vibration, discussion on evaluation index, measurement methods, occurrence mechanism, interaction relationship and control measures are sufficiently conducted. Finally the main parameters used in final drive test are given.Chapter Four cites concrete project JQX4.0 as example to establishes the architecture of the test system. It begins with the design requirements of the system, detailed descriptions on key modules both in hardware and software are followed. Several crucial problems on software design are thoroughly studied and presented, the corresponding codes are also given.Chapter Five On the foundation of the foregoing chapters, This chapter yields the concrete implementation of JQX4.0. It includes the overall architecture and arrangement of the system, the pneumatic control subsystem, the auxiliary subsystem and the process control of automatic test. It also gives the main layouts of the software which has been put in use and related explaination.The conclusion and achievement of the dissertation are summarized in Chapter Six, the further work and related suggestions are given there too.
