CAMAC (Computer Automated Measurement and Control) technology is widely used in industry field, and import of the distributed technology makes CAMAC technology applied in network. In this dissertation, design of a distributed CAMAC system for Pressure Cycle Test is studied in detail.Firstly, the requirements of the system are discussed, the software scheme and hardware scheme of the application system are designed, and the work flow of the system is made. Then design of funcions, database and HCI (Human-Computer Interface) of the system are analyzed and completed. So the schema of the system is realized.Secondly, to construct the model of distributed system, TCP/IP is chosen as network protocol in this system. Then TCP/IP model is introduced, and the sub protocol of TCP/IP, TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) and UDP (User Data Protocol) are analyzed in detail. From the requirements of the model, Client/Sever is taken as architecture of the model, and the model is disigned on basis of TCP and UDP applied. Socket programing which based on TCP/IP is introduced, and solutions of network communication are realized which are based on multi-threads technology, TCP and UDP. In addition, the key problems in realization of network communication model are discussed and solved.Thirdly, the key functions in the system are researched, including: the communication between computer and PC-based PLC, the pressure value conversion, faults disposal, data pipe, data query. A) The communication protocol between computer and PC-based PLC and the realization technology of communication are discussed and selected to apply, and the communication process between computer and PC-based PLC is designed and realized. And the key problems in realization of network communication model are discussed and solved. B) The function of pressure value conversion is discussed and designed to satisfy the requirement of the system.
