With inspect on environmental problems caused by CFC refrigerating medium becoming more and more important in people's mind, there is a wide range of potential application of environment-protecting and energy-saving technology. Chemical refrigerating system has advantages of higher efficiency and less pollutant dispersion.The purpose of this study is to investigate the desorption refrigeration cycle. The heat and mass transfer behavior in desorption/adsorption process has been analysed. A numerical model was established to simulate the process of heat and mass transfer in desorption/adsorption bed.The temperature distribution in desorption/adsorption bed was obtained. Performance of experimental system of desorption refrigeration cycle shows that the COP of the desorption refrigeration cycle is 5.9106 while the cooling temperature and heat release temperature are 5 and 40℃.The micro structure of CaCl2 ammino-complex was detected by means of XRD. The equipment of solution refrigeration cycle was built and the possibility of refrigerating cycle by salt solution was also analysed.
