The Wawu Mountain hydroelectric station is located in Wawu town, Hongya County, Meishan city of Sichuan province and is 76 km away from Hongya county. The gross head of the station is 301m high and the design head 253m. Its discharge is 120m3/s, the installed capacity is 240 thousand kwh and the multi-year average generated energy is 699 billion kwh. The cross-section of diversion tunnel is round; its internal diameter is 6.2m and its total length is 4813m,having the function of pluriennial regulation.The complex aeromechanical environment emerges in the diversion tunnel of Wawu Mountain power station. In the process of excavating, the difficulties of mastering the geological condition, the rock mass structure, the weathering degree and the geostress feature of different tunnel sections exist. Besides, it is hard to define the mechanical parameter or to judge the rationality of the temporary support measurement. Therefore, it is the base for the stability of wall rock and the optimization of support structure to reinforce the monitoring work as well as to lay stress to the analysis of information feedback in the construction period.
