In order to meet the demands of the fifth and sixth generation container ship all day's working, the depth of water should be at least 15 meters above in front of the harbor. So the site of harbor has to reach deep sea. When building a harbor far from the land, the thickness of stacked soil in the harbor always comes up to 20-30 meters, sometimes even 40 meters. It has been a challenge for civil engineers to design and build a harbor as far as retaining wall at the back of high stacked soil hills. The essay has studied the structure of the inclined pile rafts of SHANGHAI YANSHAN DEEP HARBOR. It analyses the design of deep inclined pile rafts of SHANGHAI YANSHAN DEEP HARBOR and relative structure interaction mechanism. It set forth several structural points on this special structure, which explained the interaction between the inclined piles and rafts, the development of soil stress and retaining wall's deformation, the negative friction on the surface of deep pile groups.By using international popular software-MARC, this essay succeeded in truly analyzing inclined pile raft interaction considering construction procedure and soil reinforcement. Much achievement has gotten as followed. Inclined piled platform has horizontal displacement and inclined piles endure more loads. Placing inclined piles can strengthen the ability of anti-lateral deformation of high sea bank. It is more valid to set one line of more dense inclined piles than to set two lines of loose inclined piles to retain...
