Water resource is vital resource to people, and it is one of main factors of restriction to development of social and our country's economy. As aggravation of the crisis of water resource and water environmental quality worsen constantly, water resource shortage has already developed into one of the resources environmental question that the world is paid close attention to extremely. The assessment of water resource of regions has become main method to sustainable utilization of water resource, and it become one of main questions of water. On the basis of the tendency and the current information of social and economy's development in Shandianhe river in Inner Mongolia and a lot of prior data and ourselves measured data that they are invested, collected, arranged, analyzed, the paper assessed water resource in study area. The paper main contents including: (1) The paper analyzed spatial variability of hydrology geological parameters; and studied on the tendency and regulation of annual water table resource in Shandianhe river in Inner Mongolia; and analyzed the general changing tendency of water table with time; analyzed and illustrated the conditions of supply ,penetration and drainage of ground water .(2) The paper analyzed the data of rainfall, evaporation, transpiration and runoff, assessed the surface water resources. (3) The paper used drainage method of ground water and finite element method assessed groundwater resources and forecasted the water table in the future six years. (4) The paper assessed the quality of surface water and groundwater. This paper provide the scientific foundation to optimal distribution and reasonable using in study area and can direct real production and life.
