Pre-stressed steel structure a new kind of structure in which combined pre-stress with steel structure, can take full advantage of the elastic strength of steel. But this text bring up a new kind of Pre-stressed steel structure, the outstanding characteristics of the structure is combination form and self equilibrium system, the purpose is to develop the steel potential through taking full advantage of axis compression member strength break under small slenderness ratio. And at the same time take full advantage of the lightness and high strength characteristics of the prestressed twist steel cable, inflict certain number pre-stress according to suffering to develop the steel cable strength. Inflict different number pre-stress to all of the steel cables is another idea of this article. Through the combination of the basic element we can got more vivid spatial construction form. Therefore, it is both theoretically and practically important to conduct in-depth research on multiple pre-stressed steel structure.The main work of this paper was as fellows:(1)generalized the development of prestressed steel structure in our nation and abroad, and pointed out the mechanism of prestressed steel structure and revealed its applicable range, presented the main problem in practice and a new element combination form and self equilibrium spatial Pre-stressed steel structure system.(2)presented self equilibrium Pre-stressed steel structure basic element form and give cube element for example inflict pre-stress on one element (3) introduced the progress of member process and combination in detail, and inflict pre-stress on number 2 3 4 5 four elements by the structure analysis software ANSYS one by one.(4)described the Prestressed steel structure suffering mechanism and the principle of the finite element method(5) established the optimization design model for pre-stressed steel structure, which accounts for constraints on stresses and displacements of structure. Analysed the structure internal force by the software ANSYS , and Present the method and steps of the optimization design, we can get thestress and internal force of each member while place different number of load therefore ,we can get optimization sections of each member;we also considered the influence of structure breaking to the whole structure internal force, (6)conduct imitation experiment and compare the experiment result and model analyses to check the theories and method is correct. (7) Finally summarize the main result of this text and point out the further work demanded.
