With the advance of the scales and complexity in the modern warfare, more and more concerns have be made to develop the armed helicopter, and highly fly quality and performance is needed. In the later 1980s, more and more technologies and applications for armed helicopters have been developed in western countries, especially the Integrated Fly/Firepower Control (IFFC) of armed helicopters which is key to armed helicopters for promoting the efficiency of battle and for acquiring abilities of aerial warfare. Any kinds of new-armed helicopters definitely need to apply the technique of Integrated Fly/Fire Control (IFFC). But FCS and "Fly/Fire" Coupler is the key technique of IFFC。In this paper, a fire control system of armed helicopters for ground attack is proposed based on the attack system of fix-wing. We stress on our research of FCS, IFFC and "Fly/Fire" Coupler for armed helicopters. The structure of this paper is as follows:Firstly, it establish 6-dof small-disturbance motion model and analyses motion characteristics, and draw on a conclusion of which helicopters without SAS have complicate motion character and poor stability, but helicopters with SAS have slow response velocity。Secondly, based on our results mentioned above, it designs armed helicopters with regular PID, and on the merit of Fuzzy Control and Neutral Network, fuzzy neutral network controller is designed and employed on FCS of helicopters。Thirdly, the technology of IFFC is studied, and theories and structures of airborne Fire Control Systems are analyzed, too. We establishes IFFCS model, computes Fire Control, and designs "Fly/Fire" Coupler。Finally, based on the model that mentioned above, a simulation is carried out.
