Research On Six Sigma Management Applied In Civil Aviation Safety

Safety is the most critical issue of whole civil aviation system. Other tasks could be carried on orderly when safety situation is keeping stable. Everyday work of aviation system, including the business credit and holistic benefit will be infected without the safety guarantee.As to civil aviation transportation business, safety is not only the base of subsistence and development, but also the credit standing which they seek and the strategy brand which they develop.Six sigma management is an advanced concept of management , which is based on data collection, aiming for the perfection and serving for the customers. The concept and methods of six sigma management could be applied in the civil aviation safety management by improving and renovating the management processes effectively. It is the advanced method for civil aviation safety comment and appraise.Based on analyzing the safety situation of civil aviation and the safety management state, this paper dose research on how to enhance the safety situation of civil aviation with the six sigma management. The present research work focus on several aspects summarized as follows: firstly, putting forword that the first step to enhance safety situation of civil aviation is to build safety culture with six sigma management, this paper programs a six sigma management green belt training system to improve the efficiency of six sigma management and safety culture training, secondly, bringing forward a improving and control model of safety situation which is based on six sigma DMAIC process and other safety management methods and models, thirdly, analyzing cases of some airlines implementing six sigma management, which proves that the methods and model this paper presents are applicable and proper.
