The Design Of A Night Vision Device For Individual Soldier In The Water

This paper discusses the design a Night Vision Device for individual soldier in the water(NVDIS). Based on the analysis of the influence observere in the water , the performance parameters have been determined, and an optical system of the NVDIS has been designed. The NVDIS has been examinated.The main contents are listed as follows:(1) Based on summarizing the domesticstate and overseas development trend of the NVDIS technology, facts of the influence observere in the water on NVDIS have been analyzed in details, the performance parameters have been chosen, and the overall framework of the optical system has been proposed.(2)Introduced the optical influnce of seawater,the design of the NVDIS optical system has been discussed. Besides satisfying the optical performance and observation requirement, the instrument is able to press of seawater.The airproof of theinstrument has been designed.(3) According to the relevant parameters of the optical system, The NVDIS has been tested.The actual NVDIS have been designed and manufactured, and the relative experiments have also been carried out. Experimental results indicate that this production satisfies the military application requirements.
