The development of ship Electronic Countermeasure (ECM) technologies has made the conventional single-mode guided antiship missiles less effective. But, with the help of the multimode guidance technologies, the newly developed multimode guided antiship missiles are promised to achieve better performance and better stability against the ship ECM.In order to evaluate the Electronic Protection capability of the antiship missile active-passive multimode seeker, and also provide simulation data for the devising of the multimode guided antiship missiles, several studies are performed in this thesis:The modern ship ECMs are systematically studied, and the Electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM) of the active-passive multimode seeker are analyzed.A study is performed on the Modeling and Simulation (M&S) of the missile-ship engagement scenario. Models needed for the engagement simulation are established.Appropriate evaluation indexes are established based on the considerations for the missile impact, the target tracking stability and the flight stability of the missile.A simulation program is designed to simulate the missile-ship engagement scenario, and also evaluate the Electronic Protection capability of the active-passive multimode seeker. A few simulation results are then presented and discussed.Lastly, all work in this thesis is summarized, problems needed to be solved are listed, and the expectation of future research work is forecasted.
