As an ideal part of inertia navigation, the mechanically dithered ring laser gyro (MDRLG) has a lot of characters, such as low cost, long life, good reliability, large dynamic range and so on. Therefore it is deserved to development and widely used in many field.The peripheral control circuit is one important part of ring laser gyro. And its life, control characteristic, signal stability and relative error are one important factor which affect life and precision of MDRLG..The research of this paper is based upon miniaturization and digitalization of the peripheral control circuit. In this paper, associate with resonant cavity of MDRLG, mathematical models of control circuits are built, control characteristic, electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic compatibility are analyzed in detail, a part of the circuit is optimized.At first, The peripheral control circuit is simulated in function by Pspice, the performance index of the circuit is analyzed, mathematical models of control circuit of MDRLG are built, control characteristic of the control circuit is analyzed in detail, and according to these analysis, a part of the control arithmetic is optimized.Then, After the circuit is placed wholly into margin within the case of gyroscope, electromagnetic interference which affects circuit itself is analyzed, designing for board level electromagnetic compatibility is discussed, approaches with which reducing electromagnetic interference are bring forward, at same time, the request of every circuit routing is required, and a part of circuit layout is improved.And, The basic theory of the pre-amplifier is detailedly analyzed, the important parameters of the pre-amplifier are computed, improvement projects of the pre-amplifier are listed, what's more, in order to resolve disadvantage of original circuit, a new pre-amplifier is designed. Last, Large numbers of experiments about the control circuit of the MDRLG are done, the experimented results show that the digital control circuit met the requirement of ring laser gyroscope, and the control effect is better than analog circuit's.
