| A laser gyroscope is an instrument that uses the frequency difference between two beams propagating clockwise and counterclockwise in a ring cavity to measure angular velocity.When the input angular velocity is less than a certain threshold,the frequencies of the two beams propagating clockwise and counterclockwise in the ring resonator of the laser gyroscope will be locked together without a frequency difference.This is the blocking effect of the laser gyroscope.The method of mechanical jitter and frequency deviation can be used to overcome the lock-up effect of the laser gyroscope,that is,the jitter wheel installed in the center of the laser gyroscope cavity is periodically jittered,and the input angular velocity generated in this way makes the laser gyroscope pass quickly Lock the area to achieve the purpose of eliminating the lock-up effect.The periodic reciprocating jitter of the mechanical jitter laser gyroscope is driven and controlled by the jitter control circuit.In order to make an accurate feedback on the jitter of the jitter mechanism,a jitter detector is needed to detect the jitter signal of the mechanical jitter laser gyroscope.This article uses the photoelectric effect of the position sensitive detector(PSD)to detect the jitter of the laser gyroscope.The position-sensitive detector converts the reciprocating jitter amplitude from the machine-jittered laser gyroscope into a current signal output,and the PSD signal amplifier circuit converts the weak current signal from the position-sensitive detector into a voltage signal and amplifies it,thereby realizing the machine-jitter laser gyro jitter detection.The main work done is to elaborate on the working principle of the laser gyroscope and the selection of components,use software to design a PSD-based jitter detection circuit,simulate the circuit schematic,and make a PCB circuit board.The designed circuit was tested experimentally,and finally realized the purpose of detecting the jitter of the laser gyroscope based on PSD. |
