The Research On Modern Conversion Of The Modality Characteristic Of The Traditional Folk Residence In Hunan Central-South Region

Whether in the city or the countryside, living is always the important segment of the human life. As one basic need of the people's production and life, the most direct manifests of living is its carrier--house. There are 1.3 billion people in our country, about 70% of the total population is rural population, how about the rural inhabitant's living condition and the living quality in the countryside is the key of rural economy development and the social stability. With the thorough of the country's reform and open , as well as China enters WTO and all sorts of impacts in west big development , the fast development urbanization and the countryside industry intensification has brought a huge impact to the traditional villages system and the traditional folk residence, the renew of the country building became a certain current.However ,compared with the city, the architecture research institutes took too few attention to the country building. In the real life, the farmer house construct is mostly built by farmers, and it is carried on dispersively in lack of the professional architect's participation as well as the corresponding technical guidance. With the effect of globalization and modernization, how to develop the country living environment with both the traditional region characteristic and modern living conditions.
