Dwelling Built From The Soul--Morphologic Research Of Tibetan Folk-Houses By Experimental Method

Living means existing while dwellings provide room for beings to exist. How to live is a philosophic problem and it is spontaneous for an architect to ask further questions on this topic.Design is a token of the designers' existence and also a expression method of words. From this point, I researched on the culture environment of Tibetan Folk-Houses by experimental method. Why and how did 1 do it? This article describes my thoughts from four stages.Firstly, from the information of history, nature and language I got the concept that the dwelling place is a physical expression of people's attitude of living and the attitude of living decides the relationship among people, nature and the residence: attitude of living measures the residence from the perspective of dimensions, texture, configuration and space. The designers can not avert from the consciousness appearance, culture and nature. The designers are subject to the cultural and natural conditions and the freedom of expression comes from the designers' sublimate comprehension. There is complex and natural relationship among designers, resident, residence and nature, such as the relationship between the sky and the ground. So the investigation of the resident, architectural language, nature effects greatly on the designers' attitude of living.Secondly, the relationship among nature, resident and the culture and designer' attitude of living decides how and what he considers. He should investigate himself and this decides what kind of road he will choose. How will he respond to the world? The real feeling is very important: what does he considers and what is he? Why some designs are lack forces? I think that the ineffectual piling of language the false feeling, unclear feeling, or numb feeling and the reality of the architectural language is lost under the condition.Thirdly, how to build his own attitude of living means how the designer to design. Nervousness of himself causes the designer to be lost in the reality while the respect ofhimself causes the designer to look for the truth. When I recalled my traveling in the area of Chang Jiang River, I found the relationship among the road, facing aspect and architect. When I referred to the information of western designs, I found the more expression methods come out with the new technique and new materials. Especially, the masters' designs made the materials become the words to express space. These will affect me and my future designs. Creativity, peace and placidity are very important for artists. The great work is appreciating acquiring and also be beneficial to the designer. There are many feelings and illuminations I can't count now. They are soaked in my life and even in this paragraph. Maybe this is just the reality face of the attitude of living.Fourthly, good wishes are a key of my attitude of live and the soul of my attitude is to do good for others as to get away from the adoration of material highest doctrine. Away from the adherence of all kinds my benefits, I touch the clarity face of the world and sincerity feelings. I develop my creativity, insight and placidity. To express the place beauty not through the adornment but through itself, it creates widespread order and well balanced beauty. Flowing space, walking path and facing aspect that comes from the traditional architectural language inspires the concept of the abundance of the space can come from the setting of the road. In the four-dimension dynamic space, the space is active, oversteps its own restrict, and then return into the infinite. The equilibrium's technique is a means to fulfill the target. Once the aim is clear, I can balance all in the buildings according the technique. Creation will be finished in the same time.
