| The dynamic test bed can simulate working mode of the engine fitted in a real vehicle running on real road. It provides an experimental method for the research and development of powertrain.Road load simulation, and vehicle simulation including the clutch simulation and manual transmission simulation have been executed on the DETB. The test results about power and fuel consumption simulating a passenger car SAIMA on the DETB agree with the test results on road.Driver simulation includes starting from rest, upshifting, downshifting, gear shifting thresholds, speed controlling at given gear, braking and looking-ahead driving, have been executed on DETB. The method of setting and readjusting of the parameters in the process of driver simulation was discussed.The driver simulation on DETB can reflect the behavior of real drivers. The driver behavior has great impacts on the performance of powertrain.Study on impacts of diverse driving cycles having on fuel consumption and emission performance of powertrain was executed. Driving cycles have great impacts on the performance of powertrain.The methods of road load simulation on test bed have been discussed in this paper. The impacts of the driving cylces on the performance of powertrain have beed studid on DETD the first time in domestic. Primary rules of driver behavior and driving cycles impacting on the performance of powertrain have been obtained. |
