The automobile industry has a history of more than 100 years.At the beginning,automobile was only used as a means of transportation,and now it has become an intelligent tool integrating entertainment,office,transportation and communication.In this development process,the automobile electronic greatly extends the functions of the automobile,and greatly improves the performance and intelligence of the automobile,such as control,power,comfort and safety.In recent years,with the increase of people's requirements for the comfort and luxury of the car and the government's higher and higher requirements for exhaust emissions,the electronic control system of the car has become more and more complex,so that the number of electronic control units on the car has gradually increased.Multiple electronic control units need to communicate with each other and share information to achieve the purpose of coordination,which constitutes a in-vehicle network.The application of in-vehicle network technology plays a great role in the development of automobile industry.The design of in-vehicle network plays a very important role in the whole vehicle electronic and electrical architecture.The analysis and evaluation of in-vehicle network system performance is an indispensable step of system design.In the actual development process,the construction of the test environment is very difficult.In the network protocol design stage,all or part of the electronic control units have not been developed,so the usual methods are quantitative analysis,mathematical analysis,vehicle simulation,etc.,or after the completion of the vehicle development in the real vehicle environment test.These methods all have their limitations,and the effect is not very good.Quantitative analysis and mathematical analysis can't reflect the real operation of the network.The vehicle simulation has high requirements for testers,and the network operation is too ideal.These methods can't find the problems in the actual operation of the network.The real vehicle environment test can only be carried out after the completion of vehicle development.At this time,all components have been developed.If problems are found at this time,it is necessary to redesign,relaunch and retest the modules in question,which greatly prolongs the development cycle and increases the development and human costs.Therefore,a method is urgently needed,which can test the network completely in the early stage of network design,find and solve problems,lay a good foundation for the later stage of real vehicle testing,so as to reduce the cost of testing and development,and shorten the development cycle.By building a highly reliable software and hardware test environment,the hardware in the loop simulation technology can access real components in the simulation environment,which can more truly reflect the operation of the network,provide more accurate test data,and meet the requirements of the network test work.Hardware in the loop simulation(HILS)can run through the process of in-vehicle network design and development.It can provide accurate data analysis for designers and convenient and efficient test environment for testers.The hardware in the loop simulation platform of automobile network communication can be used to simulate and verify the correctness and rationality of the network and optimize the design of the network in the design stage.Before the completion of the controller development,the bus interface is tested and verified to find the defects in the network design in advance and reduce the development cost.Through this verification platform,the bus status of the final sample can be simulated,and the bus behavior of the sample can be verified in advance to meet the design requirements.Based on the understanding of vehicle network technology and hardware in the loop simulation technology,combined with the existing vehicle network system development process and R & D resources,this paper proposes and designs the vehicle network communication hardware in loop simulation platform.From the perspective of demand,design and implementation,this paper introduces the working principle,test process and use method of the vehicle network communication hardware in loop simulation platform in detail.And applied in the development process of multiple network systems,it provides a lot of theoretical and data basis for designers,greatly reduces the workload,shortens the development cycle,and saves a lot of development costs.Firstly,the platform develops the can physical layer simulation model library by using the existing software,which is convenient for the physical layer design simulation verification.By developing the general ECU development board,it can realize the different configuration of can transceiver and peripheral interface circuit,carry out the physical layer simulation,and complete the bus physical layer network communication test by combining the existing network communication cabinet.A number of general ECU development boards(48)are arranged on the bench with reference to the network topology of the vehicle type project to be verified.Different ECU settings and bootloader application programs are refreshed through customized development software to realize the bus message sending function and various types of topology switching,verify the rationality and optimization of network communication matrix and topology design.
