Study Of The Commercial Center District Design In Mountainous Small Town

Developing the small towns hard, then pushing the urbanization forword, is very important for our construction of Chinese socialism.The commercial center district is usually the center of the people's activity and the window to the outside. It can be said to some extent that the imge of the commercial center district is the delegate of the town. The commercial center district deals with the town's economy, image, function and the quality of the people's habitation, and it has a directly effect on the improving of the town's force and stabilization. So, it is said that the construction of the small towns is key to the urbanization, while the construction of the commercial center district is the key to the construction of small towns.The construction of small towns in the east of our country has acquired large achievement, while just begins in the west. Towns in or around Chongqing are in mountainous area, they have the same natural circumstance, history culture,economy foundation,custom. The typical mountainous character makes the their construction be defferent from towns' eastern. So, the exploration and investigation to design of the regionally commercial center district in towns in or around Chongqing City, can provide a reference to the construction of towns in other mountainous areas.The thesis systematicly analyzes the natural entironment,social economic condition and social customs, draws on the architecture plans,space arrangement, the way how the building links with the entironment in western areas and other subjects' productions, then sums up the characters, patterns and the method of the factors' design in the commercial center district's reconstruction,alteration and exploitation in small towns in or around Chongqing City. The thesis aims to provide a rich and exercisable method to the construction of the commercial center district.The thesis mostly includes five chapters.Chapter one, the introduction. This chapter limits the research object and area, expounds the research's motive and the meaning based on having introduced the actuality and experience in the construction of mountainous small towns.In chapter two, the thesis commences with the analysis of the commercial center district's concept, function, problem, character and mode, defines the difference between east and west small towns.
