The design of rigid foundation is according to the allowable value of aspect ratio of rigid foundation's steps in the Code for design of building foundation (GB 50007-2002). In fact, the interaction of the foundation and the subsoil, the nonlinear of the materials make the stress of the foundation very complicated. Now, the analysis on the rigid foundation is limited by the theory and the computing conditions. Many conclusions are deduced by simplified formula and engineering experiences. So more research should be done on this subject. The finite element method's emergence and development give us a better way to analyze the geotechnical engineering. In this article, the author uses finite element method to analyze the concrete rigidity foundation. Use program VC++ to compile the Object-Oriented finite element software OOPFE (Object-Oriented programming of finite element). This paper also introduces finite element software ANSYS to form the pretreatment file used in this computing program and VC++ to compile the look-behind. In this program, a numerical computation model which includes 2D 8-node isoparametric element and 2D 6-node interface element is set up, the model of the soil is Duncan-Chang, the model of the concrete is Ottosen.Use the Object-Oriented program, the ANSYS and the Code to analyze the concrete rigidity foundation. The paper gives the stress of the foundation and the contact pressure distribution of the foundation. Further study about rigid foundation's design theory is discussed in this paper.Case study shows that the object-oriented model presented in this dissertation is correct and feasible, and the result is also satisfying.
