The situation of domestic and international resources are introduced, we realized that China are facing huge pressure that petroleum resources fall shortage and environmental pollution are serious at present, therefore different energy-saving measures must be taken to make use of available resources in the motor technology. To find new energy resources are active path to solve the problem that we reduce the excessive dependence of petroleum. Methanol and Dimethyl ether are clean alternative fuels for petroleum that have showed their great latent capacity, thus abundant coal resources can be utilized sufficiently and effectively in our country.The feasibility of the oil-based replaced by methanol and Dimethyl Ether are analysed, the technology approach and methods of Methanol and Dimethyl Ether having been applied in internal combustion engine and merits and demerits of the two fuels are summarized, then taking advantage of two fuels' merits, the effect on motor's performances by different proportion mixture of methanol and dimethyl ether DM90(Dimethyl Ether take 90% in quality) and DM80 that are injected into cylinder have been...
