This paper is about midding and low pressure axial fan's pneumatic optimization design adopts optimization theory and numerical calculation method with Visual Basic program and Excel. In the case of present design pressure, volume flow rate, different rotate speed and stage type, her e gives the calculation result of specific speed , hub ratio , volume flow rate coefficient, pressure coefficient and the total pressure efficiency. Hereby, the impeller diameter can be figured out. Then, here gives the standard impeller diameter according to the calculation result. Final design scheme is confirmed after economic and technical analyse. Then, axial fan 's stage type, impeller diameter, hub ratio , specific speed and the number of blades are decided. By changing the arbitrary vertex flow exponent to adjust the twist rule of blades in the case of fan's structure parameter is constant, in which here adopts isolated aerofoil and aerofoil array theory. Thus ,we can find out the maximum efficiency point. Generally, the noise is the lowest when axial fan is running at the maximum efficiency point. Also , an efficiency check computations is necessary after the optimization calculation. In chapter 4, an experimental test is carried out to check the veracity and adventage of the optimization calculation program ,where there is a compare about efficiency , power between the designed fan and the case-hardened fan. Then, a practical fan design is presented according to the optimization calculation programFinally, the paper gives the main motor's spec and type, and the drawing of the optimization axial fan according to the optimization calculation result.
