Composite steel-concrete beams are new type structures in which the steel and the concrete are integrated by connectors to take advantage of the respective properties of tension and compression. They have merits of both steel structures and concrete structures, remarkable benefit of technology economics and society have been achieved. So it's extensively used in engineering. Currently, our country's research in composite steel-concrete beam bridge is limited in these composite beam bridge which use ordinary materials. Research in high strength composite steel-concrete beam bridge is still in initial stage; the problem about flexural load capacity of high strength composite steel-concrete beam bridge is not specialized researched to date in our country.In order to promote high strength concrete(HSC) and high strength steel(HSS) are used in composite steel-concrete beam bridge, On the basis of conclude and analyze mechanical character of high strength concrete and high strength steel, application in and beyond the country, design theory of composite steel-concrete beam bridge are introduced in detail, the mechanical character of high strength concrete and high strength steel can be used in equation of the flexural load capacity of composite steel-concrete beam bridge, so the equation of flexural load capacity of high strength composite steel-concrete beam bridge can be assessed.Using finite-element program ANSYS simulate high strength composite steel-concrete beam bridge and calculate each steel-concrete beam bridge's flexural load capacity by change the materials strength and geometry parameter, all steel-concrete beam bridge's results that is simulated by ANSYS and theoretical results should be comprised and analysis, so the advantage mechanical performance about high strength composite steel-concrete beam bridge can be achieved.
