China's automotive industry is developing rapidly, which require much higher demand of manufacturing quality of key spare parts of automotive. Piston is the critical part in automotive engine. To control piston quality is one precondition of increasing automotive capacity stably. To solve the problem of low efficiency and inspection error caused by manual inspection, developed automatic & integrated piston measuring system.Piston automatic & integrated measuring system is applied in measuring integrated data of automotive engine piston automatically. It is mainly used in piston measurement and grading which are in the application of automotive and internal combustion engine piston. It can measure ring groove, outer diameter, pin hole, compression height, valve pocket and weight, etc. piston diameter range isΦ90~ Φ135mm.Piston automatic & integrated measuring system is a high precision, efficient system, it applies comprehensively totally integrated automation, programmable controller, transducer, locale bus unit technical, CAD, etc. critical technologies. Realizing functions, such as aptitude control and interlock, whole measuring data screen center reflection, operation screen prompt & automatic failure diagnosis alarm, measuring result statistic and store, laser mark of grading, documentation printing, etc.Its design assures the general application of different diameter, to realize the flexibility of measuring system.It is adopting comparison measuring principle to realize measurement of piston outer diameter, ring groove, weight, pin hole, which is capable to assure high precision, efficiency, stability of measurement. And it is further more to adopt comparison measuring method to measure outer diameter, which is capable to avoid error caused by setting eccentricity. Pin hole precision measurement applies non-tangency high precision pneumatic measuring method. Weight measuring is the application of high precision weight transducer. Using establishment of mathematics model, to analysis unsureness of measurement value.Measuring system applies totally integrated automation network technology, industry control computer is the system center to control each measurement operation. Using WinCC as software development plat roof, and using program software WinAC, Visual Basic and Step 7, etc.
