With the rapid development of electronics and information technology,microwave/millimeter wave integrated circuit system has been widely used in military and civilian applications,therefore more stringent requirements would be placed on the performance of microwave components.The microwave test,as an effective mean to verify the characteristics of components,is an important guarantee for the quality of electronic equipment,and has become an important standard on the theory and engineering of microwave technology with wide prospects.Due to the complexity of the process and influence of human factor on the accuracy,the traditional test method has been unable to satisfy the requirements of modern microwave test,and the new technology be urgently needed.The wide development of computer software and network control provides technical theory to solve this problem.The organic combination of microwave test and automatic control has greatly promoted the automation of measurement technology,which has become an important aspect of microwave technology,and arise the widespread attention of the professors.In this paper,automatic test technology is the basis of the research,and compare to the design of the corresponding software with depth analysis.Combining with existing instruments,and reasonable optimizing software resources,the comprehensive microwave test platform has been constructed for experimental requirements.There are two subsystems of band-pass filter automatic test system and antenna automatic test system,which be based on compact range.They achieve the advantages of automatic test and data processing on the performances of filter and antenna,which simplify operation procedure and improve measurement efficiency with higher versatility.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1.The theoretical basis and hardware on the microwave automatic test are systematically introduced,and the technologies of instrument remote control,bus interface communication,resource optimization and software design also beendeeply study.Due to actual requirements,the test system is constructed with the reasonable configuration of instruments and software platforms based on compatibility and versatility.2.The band-pass filter automatic test system is researched and designed.With the design theory of band-pass filter,the filtering mechanism is deeply analyzed on the principle of microwave network matrix.Using computer technology,the hardware platform and software are rationally optimized,the system obtains automation,which significantly simplifies the measurement process,reduces external manual factor,and ensures the quality of performance.3.It builds the antenna automatic test system based on compact range.According to the nature of the antenna parameter,the test method is reasonably selected to enhance the utilization rate of the instruments.Focusing on the remote control technology,the automatic test on antenna features is achieved with the software platform,which provides efficient,fast and accurate measurement for test system.Simultaneously,it greatly expands the application field for microwave test technology.Compared with the far field test technology,this method is simpler and easier to use.It obvious displays that the designed automatic test systems have good versatility and operability in the paper,which not only not only overcomes the technical bottlenecks in traditional microwave test method,but also further develops and perfects the theory of test technology.Moreover,it provides strong support in military technology and social economy in the future.
