| ISAD system for vehicle is an integrated system with starting ,boosting and generating function. It can start engine with no delay in engine idle, and make regenerative braking possible. Furthermore, it can provide engine assistant propulsion when needed. Thus, vehicle emission and oil-consumption are efficiently reduced and the whole performance of the automobiles is improved. The switched reluctance motor(SRM) is a new type of machine developed since 1970s. As a novel conversion device between mechanistic energy and electric energy, it has advantages such as structural simplicity, low cost, high reliability and the capability of four-quadrant running. It has become one hotspot to apply SRM to the ISAD system in the technology of hybrid electric vehicle(HEV) nowadays.This paper mainly focuses on applying a novel six-phase 12/10 SRM to the ISAD system in HEV. First, the development of SRM and ISAD are breifly summarized, the elementary construction and operation principle of SRM are also demonstrated. Then, according to the functions and characteristics of ISAD, we present control strategies of SRM under starter, generator, booster conditions. After completing the design of digital control system based on DSP and CPLD, the digital control system has been debugged and optimized. The ISAD is implemented in the sample SRM. Finally, a series of experiments are done and experimental results and analysis are given.The experimental results indicate that the control system and control strategies in this paper are valid and feasible. |
