| Kerosene and gasoline, normally work as the sampling media in the performance tests of proportional valves in fuel dispensers. As for the characteristics which includes residue in valves difficult to clean out after hydraulic testing and tending to be explosive during transportation, research on implementing compressed clean and safe air as the working media in performance testing have caught the spotlight of manufactures.Elementary research was presented on this work based on relative articles, for the performance testing of proportional valves.Chapter 1 in this work presents the research's goal and worthwhile, and the developing stage of water-alternative testing method, and also the brief content for this essay.Chapter 2 presents structure and function principles of proportional valves. Flow rate characteristics, on which flow rate parameters studying are based, are analyzed for the experiments and the model simulation. In Chapter 3, experiments are carried out in computer simulation, testing performance of the proportional valves on fuel dispensers, illustrating air-medium possibility. It also presents the digital modeling and simulating for proportional valves on fuel dispensers, which is also the significant part of this research. Possible problems and solution are discussed, as in proportional valves performance testing with air-medium as alternative of kerosene and gasoline. Accompanied with digital modeling for airy and hydraulic flow field in interval channels, analysis is presented for the solution comparing differences in velocity distribution, pressure distribution and flow field geography. In Chapter 4, experiments are designed and implemented separately with airy and liquid. Analysis and designing are made in brackets, voltage controlled current source, airy and hydraulic principles in experiment platform, and sensors for pressure, flow rate and temperature, from which comparing between airy and hydraulic result are taken out. In experiments with air and kerosene media, valve cores tend to vibrate due to the altering of spring elastic modulus and membrane thickness. Besides, the altering of experiment conditions will lead to the vibrating of valve cores, as the flux, the press and so on.Analysis, simulation and experiments are carried out in performance testing for proportional valves on fuel dispensers. Specific results obtained in research will lead... |
