With the development of economy, more and more man-made slopes are created due to human's activities, such as construction of railways or highways. Because the slopes' stability influenced directly to the safety of the road, how to evaluate the protecting slope has become a more important aspect in geotechnical engineering.Based on the field survey between K203~K216 and K236 along Gan-Yue freeway, the visual database is erected and main factors which mainly influence the slopes' stability are analyzed. Then, the slope deformation and failure mechanism at totally-deeply weathering granite are studied. Furthermore, using the displacement and stress monitoring technique, such as the stereo displacement information using in K211 slope, displacement-stress information using in K236 slope, combing with numerical analysis and limit equilibrium calculation, the stability of protecting slopes are evaluated primarily. Finally, the main factors which affect the slopes' stability is put up and the slope's stability evaluation fuzzy model by Matlab fuzzy tool-box is established, then the slopes between K203-K236 are evaluated.
