With the development of electric power & electronic technology, micro-electronics and control theory, servo control system has made a rapid progress in engineering application. The main traits of this are the distinguished efficiency of drive capability and eminent control characteristic. Semiconductor industry is an important industry for the national economy, the level of the manufacturing equipment plays a key role for the development of semiconductor industry. As a main packaging equipment of the semiconductor device production system, its developmental tendency is high-speed, more intelligent and more reliable. Because of the higher level of manufacturing and research, the domestic manufacturers are very few, and there are certain technical gaps compared with foreign countries. The study and application of servo control technology is a progress direction on automatic taping machine.The dissertation deals with taping machine, introduced the development of taping machine based on related literatures. The servo control system of turn-disk has been designed followed the design requests. Compared with pneumatic project and cam project, analyzed the practicability and advantage of servo system. Through calculation and modeling means, the performance parameter of system has been obtained. The selection of the servo motor and drive are introduced.In this dissertation, the modeling and simulation of turn-disk servo system has been studied. After deduced transmission function of the DC servo motor, the simulation model of system is constructed by using MATLAB/Simulink. The PID control algorithm is added to the simulation model, which simulation result verifies the effect of PID controller in servo system. The speed curve of turn-disk servo system has been simulated by using the online simulation system of JAT. According to the control requirements of SOT automatic taping machine, servo drive sequences are programmed using ECO2WIN. The no-load running result of servo motor was obtained. The simulation analysis for servo technology provided theoretical argument, which supports application of servo technology in automatic taping machine.The study on the turn-disk servo system has great significances to improve the performance of automatic taping machine.
