| Because of frequent cracking and shift in reinforced concrete culvert pipes applied in the freeways presently, mechanical behaviors reinforced concrete culvert pipes of different production craft manufacture are studied by means of theory and experiments. The following major contents are included.(1) Several internal force computational methods of the reinforced concrete culvert pipe in the domestic and foreign main standards are compared,analyzed,Appraised。(2) Reasonable evaluation of tensile strength and compressive strength of inner and outer pipe wall made by centrifugal and automatic technique is compared and analyzed(3)3-edge bearing tests are carried out on RC culvert pipes, which are made by centrifugal and automatic technique with once or twice shaping, or made by artificial and upstanding technique. Mechanical behaviors of RC culvert pipes, for example, capacity of resisting cracking, width of cracking, ultimate bearing capacity, failure mode, stress and strain of steel and concrete, and radial displacement, are measured during full loading range. Furthermore, these mechanical behaviors are also theoretically analyzed and evaluated.(4) The non-linear finite element procedure was introduced in detail, Mechanical behavior of RC culvert pipes is analyzed with it, the relations of loads with stress, strain, cracking is put forward.(5) Compared to the result by means of theory and experiments, The feature of mechanical behavior of RC culvert pipes is obtained.(6) According to the result by means of theory and experiments, mechanical behavior of three kinds of RC culvert pipes which are made by centrifugal and automatic technique with once or twice shaping , or made by artificial and upstanding technique, are summarized. |
