Research Of Dry-type Power Transformer Computer Aid Modeling Design

Dry-type power transformer, which is one of important power equipments, has the outstanding advantages relative to the traditional oil-type power transformer. It has good market prospect. In order to improve the general performance of dry-type power transformer and to shorten new product development period, computing aided design should be further studied and applied.This thesis mainly aims to the modeling design of dry-type power transformer, combining virtual design and visual technology with electromagnetic design to improve its computer aided modeling design level. Author develops a computer aided modeling design system of dry-type power transformer based on UG. Firstly, the whole process of second develop of UG is studied, including: application program interface of UG based on VC++6.0, customization of MenuScript, studying 3D modeling application using UG/OPEN API. The management and the technique of ADO for reading database are then studied.On the basis of the above researches, author puts forward the whole design of computer aided modeling design system project of dry-type power transformer and establishes a model of product through using parameter and feature modeling method. Finally, a computer aided modeling design system of dry-type power transformer is developed.The system, which is suitable for the design of serial products, can easily be used by the engineers who have not special knowledge of UG. The system has the following features: friendly human-machine interface, expandability, transplantation, and so on. The work of this thesis plays a solid foundation for the integrated CAD/CAE/CAM design of dry-type power transformer.
