A solar system with cooling, heating and hot-water supply (SSCHHS) was designed, which was a new approach to the thermal application of solar energy.Using CSD equation, the thermal properties of medium-high temperature heat pump fluids were calculated, and corresponding operated performance was analyzed. The concept of Associated Coefficient of Performance was presented, and the feasibility of air-conditioning system assisted by medium-high temperature heat pump was analyzed. An experimental SSCHHS was established. A Computer Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) was developed, which could realize the auto-acquisition of system parameters in different operating modes. Besides, a convenient touchable screen display and control system was designed. Experiments on the solar heating were carried out and operated characteristics were summarized.Taking the refrigerant R600a as an example, the performance of medium-high temperature heat pump was analyzed. Long-term behavior of solar air-conditioning system was simulated, and the effects of different parameters including the temperature of high-temperature tank, temperature of heat-storage tank, COP of the refrigerator and heat pump were analyzed. Based on the analysis of the distribution of different parts of energy, solar fraction was calculated and further dynamic simulation on the annual performance of SSCHHS was carried out.Based on the data of typical meteorological year, hourly operation for solar hot-water supply, solar heating and solar air-conditioning system was simulated, respectively. Then, economical efficiency was compared with conventional systems and main influential factors were analyzed.
