Research On The Decoration Style Of Houses In Yixian Of Huizhou In Ming And Qing Dynasty

Yixian lies in the south of Anhui province. In ancient years, people called Yixian——"the house in Tao Hua Yuan". There are several hundreds of ancient villages in Yixian. Until now, there are an amount of architectures in Yixian. Among these, there are 3,700 ancient well-protected houses of Ming and Qing dynasty. The structure of ancient houses in Yixian is perfect, beautiful and substantial. They reflect typical style of Huizhou architectures. Also they combine the features of regional mountains, rivers etc. These factors provide us the good situations on houses research..In the aspect of object choosing, I choose the decoration of houses in Yixian foe my research object. Because the decoration of houses reflects the living style and aesthetic views about regional people. The artists in Yixian choose the forms of decoration according to conventional views. They also put the practices and styles into the making process. In the same time, although the researches pay less attention to the decoration of houses; I try to analyze the style reasons of the decoration of houses.The dissertation combines the history records and fields investigation. The main research objects are the houses in Ming And Qing Dynasty in Huizhou; and the most important research aspect is the decoration of houses in Yixian.The main fruit of this dissertation is the systematic research fruit on the decoration of houses in Yixian. The dissertation uses the methods of typical research, fine-art theory and history theory; analyzes the decoration style of houses in Yixian. The fruit may provide research value on regional architectures research in Huizhou.
