The modern vehicle and running gear taking combustion engine as power mainly use four kinds of drive style, such as mechanical drive, hydraulic drive , hydrostatic drive and electric drive etc. The basic principle of hydrostatic drive is that mechanical energy output from engine is transformed into hydraulic energy by hrdraulic pump which is transmit to hydraulic motor through pipelines and valves, and the energy is transformed into mechanical energy again which is required by load. The hydrostatic drive style has merits such as flexible and convenient arrangement; wide stepless speed regulation dimension; the torsion and rotational speed output can be regulated greatly while having no relationship with rotational speed input; soft initial step; rapid speed regulation; lightly burst when reverse; excellent in micro drive character; comfortable in operation etc. With the development of hydraulic technology, there is more and more hydrostatic drive technology get application. This article based on one certain"large flow high pressure special rotor pump"research and design the hydrostatic drive system of one certain kind of medium-sized car.This article confirms the design objective of hydrostatic drive system based on the performance parameter of mechanical drive system and functions increased to the car. And then set up parameter model making use of software as Autocad 2000, Thmacd 2002, Matlab 6.5 etc, preliminary fulfill the structure design of hydraulic pump, hydraulic motor and valves.This article also introduces the basic principle of finite intensive analysis, dynamics analysis. And utility Autodesk Inventor R10 to carry on finite intensive analysis to the blades of pump and motor, check its mechanical intensity; utility Ansys 9.0 to carry on dynamics analysis to the shaft of pump, check its vibration characteristics.
