In recent years, with the development of the water transport, it has a trend of using macro-scale vessels ,deep water and specialization wharf. At the same time, construction of the large and deep water wharf in china can not meet the need. This need has put up a higher request to the structure of the wharf, and it needs us to do more work on studying the new structure type wharf.Combining knowing the internal and overseas wharf structure, this paper has studied the more reasonable structure of large and deep water wharf. The new wharf structure which is named catenaries-arch longitudinal beam wharf has made reference to the design method of arch bridge in bridge engineering and has taken place the traditional beam-slab simply supported longitudinal girder with new type arch longitudinal beam. In this paper the new type structure has been calculated and analyzed by using finite element method and common software ANSYS. This paper also has designed the other wharf components just as horizontal beam, deck, horizontal contact beam, arc foot, berthing member, platform and pile foundation. The 3-D model of the wharf components and the whole wharf structure has also been simulated in the paper.The paper has ascertained the reinforced concrete catenaries-arch longitudinal beam by using secondary development of ANSYS. The calculation results have provided some theory foundation in feasibility of new type of catenaries-arch longitudinal beam wharf.
