In the environment of space, there are various of electrification particles and rays, which arose the electronic parts and components degenerating, for example the effect ionization, displacement ,SEE and so on. So as to the equipment which worked in the space couldn't work better as before. DC/DC converter is as the hardcore in the equipment. And Pulse-Width Modulation, which is an important component parts in DC/DC converter, had been attract attention by people.Through establish the noise testing system and electricity testing system of PWM, and design the irradiation testing on 60Coγin this paper. It found the better electricity parameters and noise parameters. According as the testing result of SEE on others' literature, the new forecast parameters on SEE were found. At last, using the radiation harden theory and the semiconductor physics knowledge, it explains the failure mechanism of PWM. Basing on the experiment and theory, both of the parameters were studied in this paper.The mostly conclusions in this paper as follows:1, Establish the noise testing system and electricity testing system of PWM. For the first time, though adding filter, the low frequency noise which was mixed in the high pulse circuit was gained. At the same time, Irradiation testing was designed and got the electricity parameters and noise parameters. Finally, noise sensitive parameters B in radiation hardened of PWM is found in this paper.2, According as the testing result of SEE on others' literature, it analyses the failure mechanism of SEE. Using the radiation theory and the semiconductor physics knowledge, the new forecast parameters on SEE were found, which were the noise parameter and the idle of MOL-SEE.3, Infections that the failure of PWM caused DC/DC converter was debated and invested in this paper. And the idea of analog simulation infections was given.The work done above not only providing a new method to research the radiation damage and failure mode of PWM, but also providing a new parameter and way to the PWM' users and workers. By all means, it has applying value to advance the radiation harden technology about PWM and DC/DC converter.
