Load-bearing and anti-slide pile of expressway in the western mountainous areas and the construction of cities and towns in the mountainous areas has broad application foreground., it has double function: not only bearing the load from the superstructure but also counteracting landslide-thrust from the side of pile foundation,, and the mechanical behavior of pile is much more complex than anti-slide pile or simplex inclined-loading pile. The conventional calculation method and theory of pile foundation is already not fit for it's application. Combined with the National Natural Science Fundation of china"study on the numerical simulation and design theory for rock slope bridge pile"(NO. 50578060) and the Transportation Technology Projects of Hunan Province"study on the design and protect technique for slope bridge pile"(No. 200513), this thesis makes a deep and systematical research about bearing mechanism and stress characteristic of load-bearing and anti-slide pile.Based on comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the research work on pile under assembled loads at home and abroad. The pile is divided into three characteristic segment: the free segment, the loaded segment, the anchored segment by analyzing it's especial mechanical behavior. Then, considering the affecting factors such as P-Δeffect, landslide-thrust of slope, foundation coefficient, friction resistance of pile shaft and dead load of pile, The differential equations of the characteristic segment of the pile is obtained. The finite difference solution which based on conventional method(foundation coefficient method) and nonlinear method(p-y curve method) are proposed based on the equations, and the calculation program is also obtained by using MATLAB. Then, through changing the counting parameter such as load of the pile top(vertical component, horizontal component, moment), free length, anchored depth, landslide-thrust and it's distribution form, the character of the rock or soil around the pile, the diameter and the bending stiffness of the pile etc, a lot of theoretical contrasting calculations are done with the theoretical solution. The charts about moment, shearforce, displacement and resistance from the rock and soil around the pile is also obtained. Hence the bearing mechanism and mechanical affecting factor of the load-bearing and anti-slide pile is analyzed in detail. To count the issue that the datum for laboratory model tests of load-bearing and anti-slide pile is deficient, this thesis designs four contrasting tests which are different loading patterns, different free length, different achoring depth, different bending stiffness. According to the measured internal force distribution and load transfer condition, the bearing mechanism and stress characteristic are further released.
