Pneumatic control technique has been widely used in manufacture field and become a very important method of modern industry & automation due to its unique advantages. The rotary cylinder that is one kind of executive component of pneumatic control technique is also widely used. Compared with direct-acting cylinder, rotary cylinder is easy affected by exterior eccentric load because of its special structure. That will be harmful to the motion stability and reliability of whole pneumatic system and even result in some damage and loss in related manufacture field.The paper analyzed these serious problems resulted by rotary cylinder with exterior eccentric load and presented a countermeasure method. By means of improving the structure of rotary cylinder and not increasing much production cost, we achieved the goal of decreasing the harmful effect.First of all, the reason, characteristic and regular pattern of instability phenomenon of rotary cylinder in the process of motion due to eccentric load are described through theory analysis and experiment, and...
