In recent years, with the rapid development of MEMS, many micro-machining ways are well developed and used, which make the micromation and portability of mechanical device possible. Micro-technology can improve efficiency of heat transfer greatly. Applied in heat pump, micro-technology contributes to reduce the volume of heat pump enormously. The heat pump system (cooling system) of centimeter-scale is referred to as micro heat pump system.Nowadays micro-heat pump system has been paid more attention by the whole world. In the mean while, the system cries for a kind of portable power generation system with small volume, lightweight and quick power-supplement. The limited specific energy of conventional portable power supply unit such as alkaline battery has become the major trouble of micro-system. There is no doubt that the micro power system can solve this problem ideally.The purpose of this paper is to research and design micro rotary piston engine and the contents of research include as follows:In term of the setting demand of internal combustion engine test stand and self-property of micro-rotary engine, the comprehensive micro-engine stand is constructed in china so as to provide good platform for performance test of micro-engine; Basic performance including power, economical and emission performance of micro wind-cooling rotary engine made in Japan are tested; a few emission contrastive experimentations are done with different kinds of fuels so as to provide valuable reference for later catalytic combustion.According to the demand of micro power system and movement geometry principle of triangle rotor, the shaped conductor design program of micro-engine is compiled by Matlab language and the drawings of correlative part of rotary engine are drawn by Pro/E and AutoCAD. Because cooling effect of micro-rotary engine in stand isn't ideal, in order to finish essential experiment, cooling covering of Jet is designed. Considering there is no simulation soft especially for rotary engine so far, this paper builds the simple model of heat transfer and simulates the heat-exchanging effect of Jet by Fluent. The result confirmed that the heat-exchanging device of Jet is fairly suitable to micro-rotary engine.
