Wind power become more and more important in China, installed capacity is increasing. Excessive imbalance in the rotor of a wind turbine will lead to violent vibrations in the turbine, So a rotor balancing system aimed at wind turbine is necessary and important. At the beginning of paper, the paper do some elementary theoretical investigation and analysis the characteristics of the vibration of wind turbine. The feasibility of balancing the Aerodynamic Non-Balance is discussed in the paper. In this thesis ,the author research the balancing theory of rigid rotor, and introduce the influence coefficient balancing. Then the procedure of balancing of wind turbine is introduced. In order to test the system,a turbine test rig is designed and produced. The experiment shows that the rig can simulate the characteristic of wind turbine on the whole. On the basic of settling the problem of low speed and instability speed, a rotor balancing system is developed. An experimental verification on the turbine test rig shows that this system is effective and can be used to balance wind turbines in situ.
