The floating causeway system nearshore is set along sea.It is designed for the low-freeboard ship such as lighter or small-type transportation ship and as an emergency facility of transportation shoreward. It has the economy, comprehensive using characteristic.Because our country has long coastline ,research on the floating causeway system has extremely profound strategic meaning for the development of our country.Based on the floating causeway system mission requirement, the connector of the sysrem is stuied in the paper. On the condition of considering the deformation of the structure of the module, the stiffness of the flexible connector is calculated by using ANSYS; the equivalent stress model of the connector is counted by the motion and hydraulic pressure of the rigidity module endured in the irregular wave, the response spectrum of the load of the connector is obtained by program design and the time domain analysis is carried out. The computatutial modal about the fatigue life of the connector is discussed according to the S-N curve and Miner linear damage cumulating theory, and the analysis of the uncertainty brought by the the state of the sea and the S-N curve is in-depth studied. Considering the importance of the special construction of the connector, the structural strength is made a scrutiny into.the problem of the strength and fatigue about the special connector of the floating causeway nearshore is all contained in the research of the paper. The question for discussion in this article is practical in engineering and has important theory significance.
