Renovation Of Urban Center

Based on studying and analyzing the theory of urban center for"The Spatial Research of Renovating Urban Center in Tangshan", the author makes practical survey and investigation in the urban center of Tangshan city, and analyses the problems that should be solved in the renovating, such as density, utilization ratio of space, walking systems, transportations facilities, utilization of city resources in the urban center, public facilities, and advertisement-and-sign systems. With the references of the practical experiences of the renovation of other cities, the aim and policy are put forward for the renovating urban center in Tangshan. A mode of renovating urban center----"research→plan→design"is put forward. The mode can be used for renovating urban center in some complex conditions in our country.
