It provides lots of effective methods about improving performances of nickel metal hydride battery in high temperature. It tells many ways of improving battery performances by positive additives which consists of Y2O3,TiO2 and Na2WO4,separator,electrolyte in detail. The positive additive research include each additive single intermingle and blend intermingle .The results shows that Na2WO4 intermingle is best effect; Y2O3 is less; TiO2 is the worst. The enhanced separator can improve the battery performance, but effect is less than positive additive. The fluridizer separator exhibit the best high temperature performance, the next is sulfur separator, the last is common separator. Surely, we can not neglect electrolyte effect. The research testify 8.0mol/L(LiOH+NaOH+KOH)is best electrolyte in high temperature. In conclusion, a new kind of high temperature Ni-MH battery with a wide promise prospect was achieved. It can discharge 99.1%,93.1% of its ambient capacity respectively at 45℃,70℃environment and have over 250 cycle-life by adjusting its positive additive, separator and electrolyte. Of course it offers a good guide for worker in this field.
