Research On Microprocessor-based Relay Protection Training And Experimentation System

Aiming at the development of the microprocessor-based relay protection and the lack of training and experimentation system which is difficult to satisfy the requirement , this paper describe a microprocessor-based relay protection training and experimentation system , put forward the design project about the combination of software which applied for computer protection based on integrated developing environment Visual Basic 6.0 and SQL Server and hardware which applied on Digital Signal Processing and the Personal Computer 104 bus-mastering machine, introduce systemic principle architrave and primary hardware form and the function and the aim of the software and its realizable way. The applications of modularization design and DBMS make the system visual, universal and open. This system could be applied not only to microprocessor-based relay protection teaching and training, but also to the experimentation on the exploitation of new relay protection principle.
