It is very important to monitor crucial real-time data in power systems. SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) is a language for describing two-dimensional graphics in XML,and it is becoming more and more popular in graphical representation in internent,evidences show it has a bright future.Considering the advantage of SVG,we put forward a real-time power system graphics information representation model based on SVG.The architecture of the model is B/S,in the model,we use SVG to describe image elements.And then develop a class library called SVGLib to parse SVG files.We use ACSI to get real-time data and then organize the real-time data to match the real-time database which provides data to Web server. At last,we give the solution of real-time data refresh.
